James River Filmmakers Forum on Feb. 25

Come celebrate local filmmaking with our quarterly James River Filmmakers Forum on Saturday, February 25, 8 p.m. at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond. This is a free event — donations encouraged!

19th James River Film Festival, April 12-18, 2012

The James River Film Society is pleased to announce that the 19th James River Film Festival will unspool April 12-18, 2012. Confirmed guests and programs include experimental film expert, writer and educator Scott MacDonald, animator and educator Jodie Mack, Super 8/hand processing and “direct filmmaking” workshops by MONO NO AWARE (rescheduled from James River Shorts 2011), local animator Janet Scagnelli with her new film and much more.
